Who I Am
Hey there, I’m Julianne Rose— a South Florida based professional photographer who will travel wherever your story takes me to capture timeless, meaningful moments. I earned my Bachelor of Fine Arts in Photography, with a minor in Marketing, but my love for photography started long before that when I picked up my first DSLR camera back in elementary school. Since then, I’ve been dedicated to honing my craft and turning that passion into a career, capturing love and authentic lifestyle moments.
My goal with my photography isn’t to just give you a great experience— it’s for you to keep allowing me back into your life to document and celebrate your accomplishments. So, if you’re looking to build a connection with your photographer, someone who will learn to understand you and your life, I’m your gal!
Artist Statement
My photographic approach is to highlight the unseen beauty of the world through the warmth of light and the atmospheric quality of the air capturing the fleeting, "unseen" elements of everyday life. I often explore the relationship between humans and the natural world in my work, drawn to the quiet tension and harmony between the two. I’m especially inspired by natural light— its softness, its unpredictability— and I try to honor it by relying on it as much as possible, keeping the use of flashes and strobes to a minimum. I mostly work with mirrorless and DSLR cameras, but there’s something truly special about film photography— its timeless, nostalgic feel invites you to slow down, be present, and shoot with intention and precision focusing on composition and framing.
